Market Manager Sustainability APAC

Goals

The MarketManager Sustainability is responsible for promoting sustainability and drivingsales of products that enable more sustainable flying within the Global MarketOrganization. The role acts as a key interface between the GlobalSustainability and SAF Product Organization and the local market sales units,with a strong focus on sales acceleration, enablement, market feedback, andperformance development. The role actively supports the integration ofsustainability and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) considerations intocommercial activities and customer interactions across the region. The roleserves as the single point of contact for all Business-to-Business (B2B) andBusiness-to-Consumer (B2C)-related sustainability topics within the respectivearea.

Tasks

• Drive and further develop sustainability initiatives across Lufthansa Group's Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) commercial programs
• Track commercial performance, derive data-driven improvement measures, and ensure the ongoing success of the sustainability portfolio
• Act as the go-to expert and key contact for sustainability topics across the Market Organization
• Support sales teams and customers during tenders, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and contracting processes by providing sustainability expertise
• Develop and execute compelling sustainability communication strategies for corporate, agency, and consumer audiences
• Contribute to the design of innovative sustainability offerings and integrate them into customer and partner programs
• Gather, analyze, and translate customer feedback into customer-centric sustainability solutions
• Represent company at industry events and engage with internal and external sustainability stakeholders
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify new business opportunities
• Optimize sales processes, materials, and go-to-market activities to increase the adoption of sustainable products

Your profile

The ideal candidate should meet the followingrequirements:

• University degree, preferably a Master's degree in Business Administration or a comparable field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in a commercial function, such as sales, network planning, Revenue Management (RM), distribution, or alliances
• Experience in a sustainability-related field is desirable
• Must possess a legal work permit in respective country of employment
• Good knowledge of relevant technologies, digitalization, and the broader industry landscape
• Knowledge of current trends and technologies in the field of sustainability is desirable
• Strong knowledge of B2B customer segments, distribution channels, products, and programs of company's Hub Airlines
• Proficiency in English is required knowledge of German and/or the local language is desirable
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive data-driven insights and improvement measures
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-orientation skills
• Demonstrated initiative, independence, adaptability, flexibility, and commitment
• Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and teamwork skills, combined with a high degree of professionalism and reliability
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel as per business requirement
