Cloud Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design, deployment, and oversight of cloud-native architectures across multiple platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Develop scalable, secure multi-cloud solutions to meet business and compliance standards.

• Guide a team of cloud engineers and provide mentorship on technical challenges and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Conduct thorough reviews of technical designs and code to ensure best practices in infrastructure deployment.

• Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost management strategies.

• Oversee and manage enterprise-wide operating system patching across various environments, ensuring security compliance.

• Implement security hardening strategies and collaborate on vulnerability management programs across all platforms.

• Lead initiatives for Infrastructure as Code using various tools, advocating for automation within the deployment pipeline.

• Manage ITIL processes to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance with service agreements.

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating progress and technical concepts to varied audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years working in infrastructure and cloud engineering roles, demonstrating progressive leadership experiences.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing multi-cloud environments, focusing on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Proven expertise in operating system administration across both Linux and Windows systems.

• Strong background in security frameworks and compliance management.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools and practices.

• Solid understanding of ITIL processes and experience with IT Service Management platforms.

• Experience in scripting and automation is highly valued.
