We’re hiring: Social Media Executive
Pet Lovers Centre is looking for a creative, commercially minded and data-driven Social Media Executive to grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute engaging digital content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
- Plan, schedule and manage content calendars across multiple social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and timely execution.
- Collaborate with editors, copywriters, designers, influencers and external partners to produce high-quality, brand-aligned content.
- Monitor social media and content performance, analyse engagement metrics and provide insights to optimise content strategies.
- Plan and coordinate influencer and affiliate marketing activities, including content quality and brand-safety checks.
- Create and edit social media and YouTube videos to promote PLC’s services, campaigns and brand collaborations.
- Support live-streaming strategy and operations, including content planning, run sheets, talent coordination, live engagement and post-stream analysis.
- Coordinate live-streaming activities with marketplace campaigns such as Shopee and TikTok, adapting to relevant platform updates and requirements.
- Track live-stream performance, viewer engagement and conversion metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to support campaign planning, channel growth and adoption of emerging digital trends and technologies.
- Provide social media coverage and on-site support for selected weekend marketing, experiential and community events.
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Marketing or a related discipline
- 3–4 years of relevant social media experience, preferably in retail
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of how content supports brand and business growth
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut and AI-assisted video tools
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio and TikTok Analytics
- Strong multitasking, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Comfortable appearing on camera is an advantage
