Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly and periodic financial reports for Head Office
- Prepare statutory accounts, corporate tax schedules, management accounts, and MAS regulatory reports (e.g. MAS 649, MAS 610)
- Prepare and review daily regulatory compliance reports
- Liaise with external consultants on annual transfer pricing documentation
- Review quarterly GST returns
- Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries and system-related processes
- Monitor updates to Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, relevant laws, and MAS regulations; report updates to the Head of Department
- Update procedures and implement process improvements in line with regulatory and reporting changes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within a bank or financial institution
- Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting, statutory accounts, corporate tax schedules, and management accounts
- Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders at overseas Head Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
