Responsibilities
- Handle all quantity surveying and cost management duties throughout the project lifecycle.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate prices and conduct price comparisons to ensure competitive and cost-effective procurement.
- Prepare project estimates, quotations, budgets, and cost projections.
- Prepare and manage quotations, variation orders, cost estimates, cost control, and project budgets.
- Monitor project costs and track variations against approved contracts and budgets.
- Assist in tender preparation, submission, and participation.
- Source and follow up on quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and coordinate delivery schedules.
- Monitor purchase orders and update procurement and delivery status in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper records and documentation relating to quotations, procurement, project costs, and variations.
- Work closely with project and design teams to ensure effective cost management and procurement.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Renovation, Construction, or a related industry.
- Candidates with strong project coordination skills will have an added advantage.
- Good negotiation, analytical, and cost-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Able to multitask and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Bilingual proficiency is required.
