Job Description & Requirements
Introduction:
Hostmost Group of Companies is a leading Marine RadioCommunications and Navigation system service provider. Established in 1989, wehave expanded our operations globally, providing reliable services to clients across different regions. With 14 wholly owned offices and depots spanning Asiato North America, we pride ourselves on maintaining a strong global service network. At Hostmost Group, we believe in continuous improvement and invest in staff training to stay ahead of industry trends and requirements. Our group is currently expanding and there will be several vacancies available.
Job Description :
- Read and interpret schematics and tech drawings and making reports in the field to reflect work that is carried out on-site.
- Familiarity with Marine working environments on deep sea going ships.
- Carry independently test, repair, install and inspect list of marine electronics equipment including below:
- Marine GMDSS Radio System
- Voyage Data Recorder (VDR)
- Gyrocompass
- Autopilot System
- VSAT Ship Terminal
- ECDIS System
- Radar System
- Speed Log Equipment
- Echosounder Equipment
- Transmitting Magnetic Compass System (TMC)
- Any other related ship electronics products.
Qualification & Experience Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Radio & Telecommunications.
- Classification Approved Surveyor for GMDSS Radio Survey & VDR APT (please list name of Classifications), if any.
- VDR training certificates from any VDR manufacturers (please list name of Makers), if any.
- General Operator Certificate (GOC) is preferred for GMDSS use.
- Relevant training certificates from Marine Radio & Navigational Equipment Makers, if any.
- 8 to 10 years of experience for this position.

- Near Pasir Panjang MRT station (SINGAPORE).
