Are you an experienced Receptionist with strong organizational skills and a professional approach, looking for your next opportunity within a dynamic corporate environment?
Our client is an established commodity trading house with a growing team in Singapore and is looking for a Receptionist to join their office. This role will suit a confident and personable professional who is comfortable managing a busy front desk while providing essential administrative support to the wider team.
As the first point of contact for the company, you will play an important role in creating a professional experience for visitors, clients and business partners. Beyond reception, the role will also provide exposure to office coordination and general administration within a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of the front-of-house function, ensuring visitors and business guests are welcomed and assisted professionally.
• Coordinate meeting arrangements, including room scheduling, refreshments and catering requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the wider office, including data entry, document preparation, scanning and filing.
• Manage incoming calls and ensure enquiries are directed promptly to the appropriate colleagues.
• Coordinate courier services, deliveries and the distribution of incoming correspondence.
• Oversee general office requirements and ensure stationery, pantry supplies and other essential items are adequately maintained.
• Maintain a neat, professional and well-organized reception and shared office environment.
• Keep electronic and physical records organized and up to date.
• Assist with corporate events, internal meetings and other office coordination activities when required.
• Support the team with ad-hoc administrative duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Requirements:
• Diploma, GCE A/O Levels, Nitec or relevant professional qualification.
• Prior experience in a Receptionist, Front Office or administrative support role within a professional corporate environment.
• Strong communication skills with a polished and professional manner.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, dependable and comfortable working independently as well as supporting a wider team.
• Professional presentation with a warm, approachable and service-oriented personality.
