Regional Sales Director

We are looking for a senior commercial leader to drive business growth across ASEAN and Pacific markets for an established industrial technology business.
The role will have regional responsibility for sales performance, market expansion, strategic customers, channel development and technical sales support. You will lead teams across multiple countries and work closely with distributors, key accounts and internal stakeholders to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional business development and sales activities across ASEAN and Pacific.
- Build growth plans for priority markets, customers and industry segments.
- Manage and develop regional sales and technical sales teams.
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and support strategic opportunities.
- Develop both direct and distributor-led business across the region.
- Improve sales pipeline quality, forecasting and overall commercial performance.
- Support major tenders, proposals, pricing discussions and negotiations.
- Work with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
- Review market developments, competitor activity and emerging customer needs.
- Drive distributor performance and identify opportunities to strengthen market coverage.
- Partner with internal teams including service, marketing, finance and operations.
- Support regional initiatives, new product introductions and cross-market opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
- Strong B2B sales experience within industrial technology, metrology, manufacturing equipment, automation, engineering solutions or similar sectors.
- Experience leading regional or multi-country sales teams.
- Proven experience developing new business and managing major customer accounts.
- Familiar with both direct sales and distributor/channel sales models.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable managing complex technical and commercial sales cycles.
- Regional experience covering ASEAN and/or Pacific markets would be advantageous.
