Production Planner (6-Month Contract, Manufacturing)

- Plan and coordinate production output for finished goods and sub-assemblies to support customer orders and changing demand.
- Manage inventory levels across distribution points, ensuring sufficient stock while avoiding excess or obsolescence.
- Use planning systems to release work orders, track supply requirements, and adjust schedules based on demand fluctuations.
- Work closely with customer service, production, and logistics teams to address order changes, shortages, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor planning performance (e.g., backorders, stock levels) and support continuous improvements in workflow, accuracy, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP or similar).
- Comfortable using Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
- Good coordination and communication skills to work across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
