Airfreight Import Executive [SL]

- Manage end-to-end airfreight import operations, including shipment arrival monitoring, documentation, customs clearance coordination, delivery arrangements, billing, and shipment closure.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers on import shipments, providing timely updates, responding to enquiries, and resolving operational issues.
- Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking providers, customs authorities, and internal departments to ensure efficient shipment handling and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and established operational procedures.
- Manage complex or high-value shipments, proactively addressing delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs clearance queries.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, operational reports, and supporting documentation for internal reviews, customer requirements, and regulatory purposes.
- Provide guidance and operational support to junior customer service team members on import procedures, shipment documentation, and established work practices.
- Escalate unresolved customer complaints and operational issues to management, ensuring timely follow-up and appropriate resolution.
