Job Responsibilities
- Develop new business and secure new customers through sales leads and client meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions to enquiries and complaints.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets.
- Manage customer portfolios and prepare regular sales and performance reports.
- Track inbound/outbound targets and container utilisation.
- Prepare presentations and reports using PowerPoint and Power BI .
- Attend sales meetings and complete all sales-related administrative duties.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience .
- Experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or carrier lines is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Power BI .
- Proactive, target-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence with own transportation and good driving record.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Sales Executive .
