Director, Service Innovation and Digital Technology

We are looking for a Director, Service Innovation & Digital Technology for our Global Services business, to drive state-of-the-art service platforms &digital technology that are integrated into our Cytiva equipment and the way inwhich our service engineers work day-to-day. The goal is to enable our Cytiva instruments to be faster and easier to service through good SW & HW design practices and concepts, as well as enabling digital operations, from early design and/or vendor selection activity to new digital technology developmentimplementation/adoption, to daily customer support. What you’ll do

• Establish a continuous feedback loop with field service teams, regional leaders and product managers to champion service innovation development and digital technology selection/implementation approaches; also to solve frequent failures and quality issues.
• The Service Innovation leader drives the development of Design standards, SW & HW Libraries and Templates to ensure Cytiva instruments are easy, fast and low-cost to serve.
• Develop DFS (Design for Service) vision andRoadmap/Blueprint. Work with HW R&D, SW & Automation and Product Management teams to develop service design elements and prioritize them in ongoing and future NPI and Product care activities
• The Digital Technology leader oversees the activities of the Digital Technology Operations. Drives the development of vendor selection standards, technical documentation library and connectivityof Cytiva instruments to insure easy, fast and low-cost to serve.
• Drive Digital Technology capabilities across Cytiva Equipment Services, including Connectivity, AI, and data enablement, also identify technology gaps
• Drive operational excellence in remote service: integrated remote workflow &tools, secures asset’s connectivity uptime
• Define andMonitor KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of Digital Technology Support onCytiva Core Value Drivers and Customer CTQ's

Who you are:

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent as well as significant years of working experience
• Background as an Engineering leader or R&D leader within industrial systems engineering
• Industry experience from either the biopharma, medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Deep understanding of the digital industry/curiosity for technology, issues and opportunities in areas such as technology and data
• Understanding of best practices in innovation, portfolio management, customer- and Service centric approach to product development
• Ability to work across a large organization, global, and proven record of direct and indirect management of resources and teams, drive change and create influence without direct organization reports or formal authority
• Ability to Travel25-40% of the time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previou sexperience in:

• Danaher Business Solutions, preferably pursuing Certified Practitioner, e.g. PSP, TPI, CM
• Project/Portfolio Management
• Equipment Servicing
