Job Summary
Yan Palace Singapore seeks a proactive Retail Assistant to support store operations, engage customers, promote bird’s nest products, and ensure smooth retail functions.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide tailored product recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction
- Share detailed knowledge about bird’s nest products to educate and engage customers effectively
- Process sales transactions accurately using cashiering systems to ensure smooth checkout experiences
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment
- Replenish stock regularly and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability
- Pack orders efficiently to support timely delivery and customer satisfaction
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in retail or customer service to support effective customer engagement
- Experience in FMCG, health, or food products to better understand product features and customer needs
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and Chinese to serve a diverse customer base
- Positive, customer-focused attitude to contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support store operations

Salary Range SGD 2,200 – 3,200 (based on experience)
