- Develop and execute fragrance strategies aligned with customer needs, market trends, and business profitability.
- Lead the creative fragrance development process by providing olfactive direction, guiding perfumers, and identifying winning fragrance solutions.
- Leverage fragrance expertise and resources including fragrance banks, olfactive terminology, fragrance genealogy, and sensory insights to drive innovation.
- Manage projects effectively by coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and ensuring clear stakeholder communication.
- Apply market, consumer, and brand insights to support fragrance development, identify trends, and uncover future business opportunities.
- Ensure technical, regulatory, and cost compliance by understanding raw material economics, regulatory requirements, and resource optimization.
- Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships through collaboration, presentations, and effective communication of fragrance strategies and solutions.
- Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement through fragrance evaluations, project reviews, troubleshooting, reporting, and best-practice application.
- Promote innovation and commercialization by leveraging new technologies, consumer preferences, and holistic scent design strategies to deliver competitive fragrance solutions.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Fragrance, Marketing, Business or any other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant experience in an international environment.
- Excellent Olfactive communication skills which supports the overall creative process – discriminate, describe (association) and odor memory.
- Ability to effectively identify potential fragrances based on market relevance.
- Solid understanding of functional and technical capabilities, including knowledge of the consumers and different markets.
- Expertise in driving olfactive strategy and creative direction.
- Capability in speed to market and innovation cadence.
