Manufacturing Production Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in manufacturing and production management, particularly within the commercial printing industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure the delivery of exceptional printing services.

Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans to meet client demands and deadlines.
   Optimize scheduling to ensure efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.
   
   
2. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality printed finished goods.
   Implement and maintain quality standards, conducting regular inspections.
   
   
3. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a skilled production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
   Provide guidance and training to staff, promoting skill development and cross-functional expertise.
   
   
4. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining or enhancing product quality.
   Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
   
   
5. Inventory Management: Maintaining and keeping track of inventory. Ordering of supplies from vendors.
   Monitor and control production costs, staying within budgetary constraints.
   
   
6. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand client requirements and expectations.
   Foster effective communication channels between departments to enhance overall workflow.
   
   

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably within the commercial printing industry.
• Strong knowledge of printing processes - notably large format & digital printing, technologies, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality control systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
