Marketing Manager - Technology Portfolio (Japanese speaking)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
CloserStill Media (CSM) is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to deliver creative multi-channel marketing campaigns for the our technology portfolio. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where there is opportunity to grow, then this would be a great position for you.

THE ROLE:

• Own the specialised verticals within marketing campaigns for assigned events

• Develop annual marketing plans aligned with registration, attendance and revenue targets

• Execute integrated multi-channel campaigns across email, website, social media, paid media, partnerships and PR

• Monitor campaign performance and optimise activities throughout the campaign lifecycle to maximise results

• Collaborate with Sales, Conference, Operations and other internal stakeholders to achieve commercial objectives

• Manage campaign budgets, forecasts and expenditure, ensuring effective use of marketing investment

• Coordinate campaign timelines and oversee delivery across internal specialists, external agencies and vendors

• Analyse campaign performance and provide regular reporting, insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

• Coach and support Marketing Executives and Senior Marketing Executives, providing guidance and feedback on campaign execution

• Drive continuous improvement by adopting marketing best practices, new technologies and process enhancements

• Ensure marketing activities are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality

• Achieve agreed registration, attendance, revenue and campaign ROI targets for assigned events

Key Expectations

• Achieve registration, attendance and revenue targets for assigned events

• Deliver marketing campaigns on time, within scope and to a high standard

• Manage campaign budgets effectively and deliver positive return on marketing investment (ROMI)

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and maintain high stakeholder satisfaction

• Coach and develop Marketing Executives and Senior Marketing Executives to improve performance and capability

• Drive continuous improvement through campaign optimisation and data-driven decision-making

ABOUT YOU:

• Experienced B2B Marketing Manager with at least 5 years of experience

• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders including C-Level

• Experience working with data providers and audience data segmentation

• Development of marketing plans and digital campaigns

• Strong time and project management skills – demonstrating a high level of attention to detail when planning and briefing in work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good understanding of the fundamentals of digital marketing including SEO, PPC, Google Ad words, banner ads and retargeting campaigns, to drive website traffic, engagement and lead generation and mobile apps

• Strong IT skills and systems management (e.g. experience working with CRM and CMS platforms, databases, email marketing and marketing automation software)

• Fluent in Japanese, with the ability to read, write and pitch confidently to Japanese clients and partners.

• Strong understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette and negotiation nuances.

• Experience launching or growing a new market or inaugural event is an advantage
