Position Title: Account Executive
- Working Days: Monday – Friday
- Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Location: Ubi
- Salary: $2800 - $3,000
Job Responsibilities
Client and Relationship Management:
- Act as a point of contact for clients on day-to-day matters, with supervision where required
- Maintain communication with clients regarding ongoing matters and activities
- Respond to client queries and provide updates when required
- Escalate relevant issues and updates to management
Accounting and Service Duties:
- Prepare financial information for entry into the accounting system
- Update receipts and accounting records in a timely manner
- Handle cheque deposits and banking-related activities
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Prepare bank reconciliations and audit schedules
- Prepare monthly payroll records and payslips
- Handle monthly account closing up to trial balance, income statement, and balance sheet preparation
- Prepare quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings
- Handle corporate secretarial documentation and annual return submissions
- Prepare compilation of accounts and unaudited reports
- Liaise with external auditors on audit matters
- Prepare corporate tax computation and tax return submissions
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero, SQL, or equivalent accounting systems
