Job Summary
Join our team as a Clinic Assistant to support daily clinic operations, assist doctors, and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient registration, triaging, medication dispensing, payment collection, and claim submission to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Assist doctors with patient care and clinical procedures, including performing simple procedures such as ECGs
- Provide administrative support across clinic operations to maintain efficient workflow and patient service
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the clinic environment to uphold hygiene standards
- Monitor and replenish clinic stock to ensure availability of necessary supplies
- Respond to patient enquiries and provide chaperone support during consultations
- Adapt to assigned shifts and locations, including weekends and public holidays, to meet clinic needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support clinic functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or degree qualification is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinic experience in a GP clinic setting is advantageous
- Relevant healthcare-related qualifications and/or experience are advantageous
- Proactive learner with hands-on approach to tasks
- Ability to multitask with diligence, speed, and accuracy under pressure
- Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and high integrity
