About the Role

We are looking for a

Global Partnerships BD Lead

to develop and manage strategic partnerships across priority global markets. Working closely with the Global Marketing team and local market teams, you will build relationships with financial media, KOLs, content platforms, industry partners, events and other external stakeholders, while driving commercially sound partnerships that strengthen the company's global brand presence. The role combines business development, commercial negotiation, partner management and cross-market collaboration within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Partnership Development: Build and maintain a global partner network across financial media, trading and investment platforms, KOLs, Web3, CFD, Fintech, sports, lifestyle, events and other relevant sectors. Identify and develop high-quality global and regional partnership opportunities.
• Commercial Negotiation & Cost Management: Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, partnership terms and renewals. Evaluate proposals against market benchmarks, audience quality, deliverables, usage rights and expected value, while ensuring responsible management of significant marketing budgets.
• Partner & Supplier Management: Establish and improve partner evaluation and supplier management processes, including onboarding, pricing reviews, campaign evaluation, performance tracking and long-term relationship management. Support local teams in identifying suitable media, KOL, brand and event partners.
• Global-Local Collaboration: Guide and support local BD and Marketing teams on partnership strategy, supplier selection, commercial negotiations and resource evaluation. Facilitate cross-market resource sharing and the adoption of successful partnership practices.
• Business Communication & Governance: Represent the company in partner meetings, proposals, negotiations and senior-level relationship management. Work across countries and cultures while maintaining strong brand awareness and sensitivity to applicable regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience in partnerships, business development, media partnerships, sponsorships, influencer/KOL partnerships, commercial marketing, or a related field. Experience within financial services, trading, CFD, fintech, investment, digital assets, or a closely related industry is preferred.
• Global Market Experience: Experience developing or managing partnerships across multiple international or regional markets, with strong understanding of different market dynamics and stakeholder environments.
• Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills, with the ability to assess pricing, partnership value, contractual terms, deliverables and ROI, and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Relevant Partnership Network: Established relationships across financial media, KOLs, trading/investment, content, events, sports/IP, brands or related partnership ecosystems are advantageous.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, local market teams and external partners across different countries and cultures.
• Language & Communication: Strong written and spoken English for business communication, negotiations and presentations. Chinese proficiency is advantageous for communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and partners.
• Industry Awareness: Strong awareness of brand safety and applicable compliance considerations when developing partnerships and marketing activities within regulated financial services environments.
• Working Style: Commercially minded, proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
