Rove Concepts is looking for a Product Drafter/Designer who is driven by collaborative and creative environments to develop simple, innovative, and beautifully designed products that make bold statements in our customers’ homes.

What You’ll Do:

-Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to support all product development initiatives

- Incorporate strong sketching and model making skills to effectively communicate design intent

- Participate in design critiques and reviews throughout development process and present work regu larly in product meetings

- Assist with creating production-ready models easy-to-follow instructions

- Research new processes and materials to incorporate into designs

- Own and lead the end-to-end design process of major features and iterations

- Influence the direction of your team by identifying and defining new feature opportunities

- Deliver high-quality, polished, delightful, and easy to use design, thinking in terms of design

- Design and prototype multiple ideas quickly, and connect regularly with team

- Make knowledgeable estimates on product dimensions based on design references or briefs.

- Assist in sampling design revisions by comparing to ideal design references

What You’ll Need:

- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field

2-3 years of industry experience preferred

- Must have demonstrated sketching, 3D sketching, rendering and model making skills

- Must have skills and experience with Solidworks and or Autocad

- Knowledge of furniture a plus

- A team player with professional integrity, strong initiative and commitment to achieving product development department goals

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills

- Flexibility to move from task to task efficiently

- Respond effectively to the precise direction

- Approach problems with curiosity, and excitement to learn and grow your skills

- Have a good eye for comparing differences and product references provided.
