About The Job
We are seeking a capable and experienced Research Executive to support NICE‑led research and evaluation initiatives in working adult learning and Continuing Education and Training (CET). The role involves conducting and analysing research to generate insights that inform and strengthen NICE’s research projects.

What You Will Be Doing

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and refine research instruments, including qualitative and quantitative data collection tools.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research activities, including interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions.
Analyze and interpret research data, and prepare clear reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings.
Synthesize research results into high‑quality outputs such as academic reports, policy briefs, and presentations.
Supervise and guide part‑time research assistants to support project delivery.
Conduct literature reviews and develop annotated summaries aligned with research objectives.
Perform data cleaning, preparation, and support statistical analysis for reporting purposes.
Carry out other research‑ and project‑related duties as assigned.

Minimum Diploma qualification in any discipline, with at least five years of experience supporting research projects, preferably in skills development, workforce upskilling, or training and education–related outcomes.
Demonstrated interest in skills development, workforce transformation, lifelong learning, and evidence‑based training initiatives.
Strong foundation in qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies, with hands‑on experience using analysis tools such as Stata, Tableau, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent software.
Proficient in the use of Qualtrics for survey design, administration, and data management, as well as Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Proven experience conducting fieldwork across a range of settings, including home visits, worksites, public and community spaces, institutional environments, and virtual or online research contexts.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high‑quality outputs within tight timelines.
Familiarity with Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) Institutional Review Board (IRB) procedures and applied research ethics is an advantage.
