About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Regional Finance Manager to join our newly established Southeast Asia Regional Headquarters (RHQ) in Singapore. Reporting to the Japan Headquarters, this strategic position plays a pivotal role in strengthening financial governance, optimising cash management, enhancing tax efficiency, and supporting business growth across multiple Southeast Asian subsidiaries.
This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals who aspire to move beyond traditional accounting and contribute to regional business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen regional financial governance, internal controls, process standardisation, and management reporting across Southeast Asian subsidiaries.
- Monitor regional cash positions and lead cash flow, liquidity, working capital, treasury, and intercompany funding initiatives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, transfer pricing, international tax matters, and cross-border transactions.
- Partner with Japan Headquarters and regional management on financial planning, shared services, process improvement, digital transformation, and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting and finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Practical experience in cash management, cash flow planning, treasury operations, and working capital optimisation
- Knowledge of corporate tax, preferably including international tax, transfer pricing, andcross-border transactions; experience in a multinational or regional environment is an advantage
