Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Director to strengthen and expand our international business partnerships across the digital advertising, media, technology, and mobile gaming ecosystems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying strategic partnership opportunities, developing relationships with key industry stakeholders, supporting vendor evaluations and commercial negotiations, and providing actionable market intelligence to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnership Development
Identify, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with international media partners, advertising platforms, technology providers, and other relevant business partners.
Establish and strengthen long-term commercial partnerships that support the company's international business objectives.
Explore new partnership opportunities and potential channels for business expansion.
2. Vendor Evaluation and Commercial Negotiations
Support internal business teams in vendor sourcing, evaluation, selection, and competitive bidding processes.
Conduct objective, multi-dimensional assessments of prospective partners, including commercial terms, service capabilities, technology offerings, and business suitability.
Lead or support commercial discussions and negotiations to achieve favourable and sustainable partnership arrangements.
3. Market Intelligence and Business Insights
Monitor developments in international advertising, media, mobile gaming, and technology markets.
Collect and analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, partnership trends, and emerging industry opportunities.
Translate market insights into structured reports, recommendations, and reusable internal knowledge resources.
4. Business Opportunity Identification
Proactively identify emerging international business opportunities, advertising channels, and technology solutions.
Evaluate potential partnerships and new business initiatives based on strategic fit and commercial value.
Provide timely market insights and recommendations to relevant business stakeholders.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, user acquisition, monetisation, product, finance, and other internal teams to support business requirements.
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to facilitate partnership evaluations and implementation.
Maintain effective communication with international partners and support the resolution of commercial and operational issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience in international business development, strategic partnerships, or channel management.
Strong understanding of international digital media and advertising ecosystems, including major platforms such as Google, Meta, and TikTok.
Established knowledge of third-party advertising technology providers, media partners, and relevant service ecosystems.
Demonstrated commercial negotiation, relationship management, and resource coordination skills.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to evaluate commercial opportunities objectively.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills for collaboration with international business partners.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple business priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mobile gaming, digital advertising, consumer internet, entertainment, or related technology sectors.
International business exposure or experience working with overseas partners.
Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the company's international markets.
Technical knowledge or familiarity with AI, big data, and advertising technology solutions.
