Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a broad range of HR operations and employee lifecycle activities in Singapore. This role will work closely with employees, managers and internal HR stakeholders across onboarding, performance management, employee benefits, HR operations and engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities and ensure a smooth new hire experience.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and internal stakeholders to complete onboarding requirements accurately and on time.
- Prepare employment-related documentation, HR letters, onboarding materials and employee records.
- Maintain accurate employee information throughout the employee lifecycle, including transfers, promotions, reporting changes and exits.
- Support employment contract administration, probation tracking and other HR documentation processes.
- Maintain accurate HRIS and personnel records while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports and support HR audits and reporting requirements.
Performance Management & Annual HR Cycles
- Coordinate annual HR activities including goal setting, performance reviews, development planning, promotions and merit reviews.
- Track completion of performance management activities and follow up with employees and managers where required.
- Provide guidance on HR processes, timelines, documentation and system navigation.
- Maintain accurate records and escalate delays or process issues where necessary.
Compensation, Benefits & Wellbeing
- Administer employee benefits including medical insurance, leave-related benefits and wellbeing programmes.
- Coordinate benefits enrolment, renewals, employee communications and vendor administration.
- Support annual merit, bonus, promotion and compensation processes.
- Work with Payroll, Finance and external vendors to ensure employee information and benefits-related data are accurate.
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on routine HR-related enquiries.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, processes, systems and employee lifecycle matters.
- Support employee relations cases through documentation and meeting coordination where required.
- Escalate complex employee relations, performance, disciplinary or compliance matters to the appropriate HR leadership.
HR Compliance & Policy
- Support HR activities in line with Singapore employment requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain appropriate employee and employment records.
- Support work pass, business visa and employee mobility-related administration.
- Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Support flexible work arrangement processes and other local HR compliance activities.
Learning, Engagement & Events
- Coordinate training programmes, workshops and employee development activities.
- Maintain training and participation records.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing, culture and recognition initiatives.
- Assist with internal HR events and activities in collaboration with relevant committees and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline .
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR Generalist experience .
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, performance management and compensation & benefits.
- Good knowledge of Singapore employment practices and HR processes .
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle or similar systems .
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders at different levels.
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
