Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with hands-on payroll experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, with a strong focus on payroll administration, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations. This role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and Singapore employment regulations.
Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is up to date.
Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding.
Administer employee benefits, leave, claims, and attendance records.
Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and other HR-related documentation.
Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other relevant HR regulations.
Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, leave, benefits, and HR policies.
Prepare HR reports and maintain payroll and HR databases.
Support HR initiatives, employee engagement activities, and other ad hoc HR projects.
Requirements
- Excellent in Excel - pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of HR experience, with hands-on payroll processing experience.
Good understanding of Singapore Employment Act and payroll practices.
Experience using HRIS and payroll systems is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
