Job Description - Position: QA Engineer
- Company: Well-Established US Medical & Healthcare Packaging Manufacturing MNC
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:15pm
- Salary: Up to $3,500 , commensurate with experience

- Working Location: Tuas

Main Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and testing on incoming raw materials, in-process products and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Ensure products meet required quality specifications, customer requirements and applicable quality standards .
- Monitor production processes and identify quality issues, abnormalities and potential product defects.
- Investigate product defects and non-conformities , and support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) .
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve day-to-day quality and manufacturing issues.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test results and other relevant QA documentation .
- Support investigations into customer complaints , identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external quality audits .
- Monitor quality performance and trends, and prepare quality reports for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve product quality and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with established Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, company policies and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other quality-related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant QA/QC experience , preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection, root cause analysis, CAPA and problem-solving methodologies .
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or Quality Management Systems (QMS) will be an added advantage.
- Able to read and understand technical specifications, drawings and quality standards .
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Production and Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidates with experience in medical, healthcare, packaging or regulated manufacturing environments will have an added advantage.
