Marketing Executive

Role Description

Reporting to the General Manager, this person will be responsible for the planning of marketing strategies to boost the sales of physical stores as well as grow online sales, drive traffic and engage customers. Major responsibilities include the following.

Responsibilities :

Social Media

• Work closely with agencies on content management across different social media platform to increase brand awareness and promotion, gain followers and engage customers.

Ecommerce/Marketplace Management

• Manage the company's product portfolio on marketplaces where applicable including product upload, product updates, delisting, returns, defects management, replenishments and content updates
• Monitor and process incoming online orders including verifying order accuracy, track order status from placement through delivery, Handling order modifications, cancellations, and returns/refunds as well as flag and resolve issues like payment failures, stock shortages, or duplicate orders
• Respond to customer inquiries about order status, shipping, and products
• Send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and follow-ups
• Handle complaints related to delayed, damaged, or incorrect deliveries
• Upsell or cross-sell relevant products when appropriate
• Manage communication across channels (email, chat, phone, marketplace messaging)
• Coordinate and execute promotional activities
• Responsible for resolving all escalated customer queries
• Liaise with e-marketplaces' Account Managers for maximizing exposure and support

Offline Store Operations

• Assist to execute marketing activities
• Assist to implement creative and effective tactical campaigns
• Assist to execute marketing and media plan
• Create and produce marketing collateral such as POS signage, poster, eDM banners and flyers
• Prepare sales reports of marketing campaign

Specifications/Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):

• Minimum 1 year of Experience in Retail and eCommerce is a plus
• Experience with marketplaces management a major plus eg. Lazada
• Experience with Google SEM is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to multitask and able to work independently
