Operations Executive (Commodities)

Our client is a global commodities trading company and they are looking for an Operations Executive to support the end-to-end execution of physical commodity trades across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contract execution and shipment planning
- Coordinate with suppliers, shippers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Handle shipping documentation, invoicing and payment follow-ups
- Manage claims, settlements and related operational matters
- Monitor shipments closely and proactively resolve issues
Requirements
- 5–6 years of relevant commodity execution / operations experience
- Experience in sugar, agri commodities or other physical commodities preferred
- Good understanding of international shipping and trade documentation
- Familiarity with LCs, LOIs, charter parties and demurrage/laytime will be advantageous
- Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
