Job Summary
Joytour Holidays Pte. Ltd. seeks a proactive Sales Manager to lead business development, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across Singapore and regional markets for outbound (across ASEAN and China Destination) and inbound travel services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and business growth targets
- Identify and secure new customers and business opportunities to expand market presence
- Conduct field sales activities such as cold calling, client visits, networking, and direct outreach to generate leads
- Travel island-wide to engage prospective and existing customers and strengthen business relationships
- Plan and execute online and offline marketing events, media advertising, roadshows, exhibitions and fairs (e.g., NATAS fair, oversea exhibition) to achieve sales targets
- Develop group travel, customized travel, and other high-value business opportunities to diversify revenue streams
- Identify and cultivate new sales channels, market segments, and strategic partnerships for sustained growth
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through quotation, negotiation, and deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, and business partners to ensure retention
- Research market trends and customer needs to uncover opportunities for business expansion and competitive advantage
- Monitor sales staff performance against targets and provide support as needed
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business proposals to support management decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure successful delivery of customer and group requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in group, corporate, institutional, or project-based business development
- Experience in travel, tourism, or related industries will be an advantage
- Willingness of travelling oversea (ASEAN, China, and so on) for business development needs
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English
