Your responsibilities as a Finance Business Partner Team Leader (Retail)

As a Finance Business Partner Team Leader, you will be responsible for enhancing management responsibilities and providing assistance in decision-making processes that contribute to long-term profitability.

Act as a counter-power, alerting as needed and proposing corrective actions;
Prepare and ensure that all accounting records reflect precisely the business reality, and adhere to both company standards and local tax and accounting regulations;
Communicate accounting figures simply and effectively to senior management;
Challenge current practices, if needed, and propose new approaches;
Be a reference in terms of business & analysis

Financial Accounting: Ensure reliable financial information and compliance to group and local accounting norms

Record, control and report transactions in the area of responsibility
Manage balance sheet reconciliation and ensure timely resolution and clean up of overdue items
Contribute to timely monthly financial closing, and financial statements validation
Apply and follow up on group/local accounting & compliance norms

Business partner: Contribute to the Business Unit(s) decision making and co-building the business plan

Provide timely and user-friendly business information for understanding of economic performances and for making optimised decisions
Enlighten the business decision, by using operational or financial data, on the day to day business cases
Ability to translate business needs into financial consequences and solutions
Responsible for the maintenance of agreed reporting catalogue and updating the related reporting guidelines and governance
Training, supporting, developing and secure the Business Forecasting (piloting) competence of the business team for analysis & understanding of performance and making optimised decisions
Drive, along with the team, the annual budgeting (Trajectory), rolling forecast (piloting) and strategic planning processes; communicate in a timely, structured and standardised basis.

Team Leader: Manage and lead a team to achieve team objectives

Responsible of the development of the teammates: propose tailored development plans, teach, share
Identify the points to improve of the teammates and find effective ways to guarantee the development of those points
Identify the talents in the team, take risks to give more responsibility and follow up
Build an effective, motivated and complementary team
Present and promote the internal career possibilities and development plans
